Accessibility Statement

Our approach

Feistafind is designed for adults 50+, which means designing for the full range of vision, hearing, motor, and cognitive differences that come with being human. This prototype follows recognised good practices, and a production service should be audited against WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

What this site does

• Keyboard navigation — every interactive element is reachable and usable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator
• Semantic HTML — proper header, navigation, main, section, and footer landmarks, with a logical heading hierarchy
• Alt text — meaningful descriptions on photos and images
• Color contrast — text and controls are designed to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios, and colour is never the only way information is conveyed
• Readable typography — a large base font size and generous line spacing as the default
• Form labels — every input has a visible label and clear error messages
• Reduced motion — the site honours your system's reduced-motion preference
• Responsive design — usable at small screen sizes and high zoom without horizontal scrolling
