• Passwords — for Feistafind, your email, or anything else.
• Banking information — account numbers, balances, or online banking logins.
• Credit card details — numbers, expiry dates, or security codes.
• Government ID numbers — such as social security, passport, or driver's licence numbers.
• Your home address — a general city or region is all anyone needs.
• Security codes — including one-time codes texted or emailed to you. Anyone asking for a code sent to your phone is attempting account takeover.

Avoid Romance Scams

Romance scams are the most common threat on any dating platform, and adults over 50 are frequent targets. Scammers are patient, flattering, and convincing. Walk away — and report — if someone:

• Asks for money for any reason, however small or temporary it sounds.
• Tells emergency stories — sudden medical bills, stranded travel, frozen bank accounts.
• Pressures you to move off-platform quickly to private email, text, or messaging apps.
• Refuses to meet appropriately — endless excuses to avoid a video call or a public in-person meeting.
• Requests gift cards or cryptocurrency — these are untraceable and a hallmark of fraud.
• Asks for financial information or offers "investment opportunities."

Meeting in Person

• Meet in a public, busy place for the first few dates.
• Tell a friend or family member where you are going and when you expect to be back.
• Arrange your own transport to and from the meeting.
• Keep your phone charged and with you.
• There is no rush. Anyone who respects you will respect your pace.
